Lead Programmer Analyst Location St. Louis, MO Job Type Full-time Summary of Position Responsibilities:

  • Works hand in hand with the PM group to drive projects end to end from creative concept technical design, through deployment.

  • Reviews, understands and designs/architects internal customer needs into actionable technical plans partnering with PMs, support specialists, and less senior developers.

  • Translates business requirements into design and deployment of the operational and technical aspects of project plans.

  • Partners with the PM group to set and meet deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor that standards are met, and develop code using our standards.

  • Is a resource for the PM group on project status updates and timeline analysis for internal customers and business leaders.

  • Supplies application/process troubleshooting, and data analysis for internal customers and leadership as needed.

  • Actively minimizes and controls scope creep on all working projects. Guides development team to increase efficiencies and meet deadlines as needed.

  • Coaches less senior programmers and support positions to a higher level of success that is sustainable and meets business goals.

  • Becomes a IT domain expert (SME) on assigned projects and processes.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree, with emphasis in computer science (business or math) preferred.

  • 8+ years’ Software Development Life Cycle knowledge and experience with an emphasis in software version control, and programming (client server and web-based techniques).

  • Production system knowledge (Vendor and/or homegrown).

  • Excellent customer service skills needed with ability to learn quickly.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work with management and users to define and solve problems associated with PC hardware, process, and software products.

  • Must have experience, and be a self-starter with attention to detail and drive that will wear multiple hats, be a good example and leader to less senior developers and IT team members.

  • Applicable experience using programming languages that are designated company standards. Current versions of Microsoft Software Dev tools – Microsoft .Net Framework, C# .Net, and ASP.Net.

  • Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) experience in development
