Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Sr. Manager - Security Incident Response

We are looking for a security leader with experience in incident management, threat hunting, forensics analysis, and red team/blue team activities. You will be leading a detection and response team responsible for investigating and reporting of security incidents that impact Oracle’s cloud as well as identifying and driving the evolution of the team. This role will work in concert with the other security functions within Oracle and participate in industry partnerships.

Manage all facets of a team of security analysts and incident handlers who provide 24/7/365 security incident response and digital forensics
Manage security crisis management and executive notifications for critical escalations
Mentor and provide career development of detection and response staff
Assist with the development of processes and procedures to improve security operations functions, incident response times, and incident analysis
Effectively communicate security concepts with both technical and non-technical individuals
Develop and deliver long term roadmap strategies
Research industry trends, identify ongoing security threats, analyze new security testing tools, and provide recommendations on the need and usefulness of services and/or products
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
4-5 years of management experience related to security operations work experience (monitoring, detection, incident response, forensics), cybersecurity architecture, or engineering
Excellent written and verbal communications, including presentation skills, are important to be successful in this role
Proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, as well as with external parties
Understanding of various forensic applications including X-Ways and F-Response
Experience managing various facets of Red/Blue exercises
Knowledge of the chain of custody process and properly securing evidence
Knowledge of current advanced adversary TTP’s and experience responding to ATP attacks
Understanding of host and network Incident Response processes, tasks, and tools
