Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs.
Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Maintains security systems for routers and switches. Administers security policies to control access to systems. Maintains the company s firewall. Uses applicable encryption methods. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Prefer 8 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.

We are seeking a Principal Security Automation Engineer to join the Oracle NetSuite Security team responsible for securing systems, infrastructure, services and data.

You will be primarily focused on automating security operations and deployment, while also researching trending technologies and architecture. BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Or experience that proves you can do the job!)
5 years directly working with server, network and/ or security infrastructure
2 years automation and scripting technologies and languages
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, propose and implement various technical solutions
Automation in Python, Ruby, Git, Ansible, Salt and any other automation CI/CD tools
Strong Linux, object storage and container (Dockers, Kubernetes, Nomad) system administration
Experience with Hashicorp products (Terraform, Vault, Sentry), Splunk, Jenkins, Tanium and Qualys
Experience with Open Source technologies and implementation
Experience with various public/ private cloud (Openstack/AWS/Azure/OCI)
Security technologies to include: VPN, RBL, Tarpit, Honeypot, MFA, SAML,
Certifications to include: CISSP, RHCE, CISA
