Day ShiftThe primary responsibilities for this position further includes being responsible for administration and management of assigned daily operations, which include analysis, installation, and maintenance of SQL database servers and related ancillary systemsBegin

  • Maintain standards across the enterprise

  • Perform any other related duties requested or assigned

  • Work as part of an on-call rotation which includes a 24x7 support for the organization

  • Provide technical leadership to ongoing projects

  • Analyze user needs quickly and efficiently

  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technology

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff members, customers, and vendors

  • Provide necessary documentation for all applications and system s

  • Management and proactively monitoring applications with reference to related monitoring tools

  • Maintain Datacenter Infrastructure, Security, and Maintenance in a multi-hospital environment

  • Must be customer service oriented and have the ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in all aspects of job duties

  • Recommend development of system plans for operation and growth

  • Contribute technical leadership, deep technical skills, and industry experience and best practices to a motivated Windows Technologies team driving change

  • Integrate acquisitions into existing server and network infrastructure

  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with people at all organizational levels

  • Maintain multiple versions of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Databases

  • Develop, maintain and audit database security

  • Install and configure database management software, translate database design and diagnose performance issues

  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies

  • Assist users with development of complex queries and reports as needed

  • Maintains appropriate system documentation in accordance to department standards

  • Performs after hour and on-call support as assigned

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Become

  • Bachelor's degree required with 6 years of equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of IT experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience serving as DBA

  • Minimum of 2 year writing code using languages such as (but not limited to) Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net

  • Minimum of 3 years working with RDBMS databases

  • Minimum of 3 years working with T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Views and Queries

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with change management and project management methodologies

  • Minimum of 2 year of experience with testing tools and testing methodologies

  • Two or more certifications in Microsoft SQL

  • Experience with EDI processes and support Experience developing data visualization using Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI, or similar products

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to junior analysts

  • Experience with ETL processes and loading/storing data from external sources

  • Development of custom databases for reporting purposes

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
