The Boeing Company F/A-18 E/F and E/A-18G Systems Engineering Requirements Management Lead in Berkeley, Missouri

Position Overview

:

This Systems Engineering Requirements Management lead position supports the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler programs. These programs are fast-paced and cutting-edge with new capabilities planned for development and introduction through the next decade to improve the weapon system and support the warfighter. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, systems architectures, and baseline management. The candidate should also have experience coordinating and communicating with customers and suppliers.

The selected candidate will be responsible for defining, developing, allocating, tracing, and managing the USN and International/FMS configuration requirements baselines currently supporting a variety of architectures. 

The selected candidate will be responsible for interfacing with internal/external stakeholders.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance across all requirements tiers to ensure consistency is maintained in executing the established processes.

Position Responsibilities

:

The Requirements Management lead position responsibilities include:

Defining, developing, allocating, tracing, and managing the USN and International/FMS configuration requirements baselines currently supporting a variety of architectures and using the Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)

Interfacing with internal/external stakeholders

Providing support and guidance across all requirements tiers to ensure consistency is maintained in executing the established processes

Analyzing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to assess impacts

Developing and processing Proposed Specification Change Notices (PSCNs); specifications revisions; Acceptance Letter inputs; contractual attachments

Providing requirements development & management guidance

Providing training on process and tools to teams and new employees

Maintaining the Requirements Management Plan and associated documentation

Administering the tools supporting the requirements function (e.g. DOORS, HornetWeb Requirements page, etc.)

Supporting the conduct of Boeing QA and DCMA process audits

Supporting process and tool improvements

Work Authorization

:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S.

secret

clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications

(Required Skills/Experience):

Technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

1 or more years of experience using Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)

Typical Education/Experience

:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
