The Boeing Company is seeking a motivated Experienced Systems Verification Test Engineer to support the MQ-25 program located in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will be the technical point of contact to provide systems of systems integration and verification leadership. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization
Boeing is bringing the future of unmanned aircraft carrier aviation to the U.S. Navy with its MQ-25. An unmanned aircraft system designed for the U.S. Navy mission, it will provide the needed robust refueling capability thereby extending the combat range of deployed Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet, Boeing EA-18G Growler, and Lockheed Martin F-35C fighters.
Participates in system of systems integration and verification activities
Supports test procedure development, execution, and data collection activities
Supports problem reports (PRs) root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigation efforts
Coordinates with technical leads, other program IPTs, suppliers, and US Navy customer as appropriate
Maintains working-level customer relationships on the effort
Manages and ensures deliverables are submitted on time
Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity
Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned
Provides technical, business and integration for the development and execution of project or team plan
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start).
Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills & Experience:)
A Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
3+ years in avionics and/or systems integration
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
3+ years in the Aerospace Industry experience is a plus
Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering is desired
Experience with DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System) is a plus
Software development experience is desired
Experience with unmanned aerial systems is desired
Applicants must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environment
Knowledge of systems engineering design concepts and techniques is preferred
Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
